Direct cremation is the disposition of the remains without any attendant rites or ceremonies as is scheduled at the convenience of the funeral home.

Direct cremation includes the local transfer of remains to the funeral firm, the services of the funeral directors and staff, securing of necessary authorizations, basic local transportation to the crematory, an alternative container for cremation, and the return of the cremated remains to the funeral firm.

We offer two basic packages for direct cremation:

The second package includes all but the alternative container and is only selected if a cremation container is supplied by the purchaser and meets any applicable state or crematory requirements. - $ 1,500

We offer two basic packages for direct burial:

The first package includes the local transfer of remains to the funeral firm, the services of the funeral directors and staff, securing of necessary authorizations, basic local transportation to the cemetery, and an alternative container. - $3,200

The second package includes all but the alternative container and is only selected if an alternative container is supplied by the purchaser and meets any applicable state or cemetery requirements. - $2,800

The direct burial prices do not include the cemetery charge.

In New York State, embalming is not required by law. If you do not want embalming, you have the right to choose an arrangement which does not require you to pay for embalming such as direct cremation or direct burial. However, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as viewing or an open casket, embalming may be required by the funeral firm and you would be responsible for the costs incurred.

The charge for our services will be added to the cost of the funeral arrangements you select. However, this charge will not be added to the cost for the direct cremation, direct burial, forwarding of remains, or receiving of remains because the prices for those already include this charge.

Basic arrangements include: the funeral directors, other staff, equipment, and facilities needed to respond to the initial request for service, the arrangement conference, securing of necessary authorizations and documentation, and coordination of service plans with parties involved in the final disposition of the deceased. - $1,695
