Olde Towne Funeral Home of Manassas, also known as Pierce Old Town Chapel, is a historic funeral home located at 9320 West Street in the heart of Manassas, Virginia. The building itself has served the community for over a century, with funeral services first operating from this location in the 1920s under the Baker family. For more than 80 years, the Baker family provided compassionate care until Clifford and Linda Blasius purchased the business in 1979. The Blasius family later added their name to create Blasius-Baker Funeral Home in celebration of its 100th anniversary. In 1997, the business was sold to a corporate entity, but the property remained in the Blasius family. In 2007, Robert Pierce, owner of Pierce Funeral Homes, purchased the property. After many years of vacancy, Robert’s daughter, Courtney Pierce, decided to reopen it as a funeral home once again, restoring its legacy of service to the Manassas community.
