Originally established as a local funeral provider, the business was purchased on April 1, 1997, by Otis Smith, who also acquired Womack Manard Funeral Home in Crowell and Chillicothe at the same time. This expansion allowed the Smith family to extend their dedicated service across a three-county region, ensuring families in Quanah and neighboring areas had access to complete, dignified funeral arrangements. Otis Smith was deeply committed to serving each family with personal attention and respect, a tradition that continued under his leadership for decades. In 2002, Robert Webb joined the team, followed by Smith’s son-in-law, Patrick Parmer, in July 2014. Following the passing of Otis Smith in June 2022, ownership and operations transitioned to his wife, Vickie Smith, and Patrick Parmer.
