About

Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. has been a cornerstone of compassionate care in Perryton and the surrounding Texas Panhandle for over 70 years. Founded on a legacy of family service, the funeral home began in 1926 when five brothers—Howard, Paul, Lloyd, Alton, and Ivan Boxwell—moved to Texas to establish their first location in Amarillo. Over the decades, the business expanded to include locations in Dumas, Stratford, and, in 1943, the Perryton and Spearman facilities were purchased. Alton Boxwell was chosen to oversee these two locations and relocated his family there in 1944, setting the stage for generations of dedicated service. After Howard and Paul retired in 1968, Alton and Ivan took over the partnership of the Amarillo, Perryton, and Spearman homes. Following Alton's unexpected passing, Ivan became sole proprietor, and eventually, Alton's sons, Richard (Dick) and Robert (Bob) Boxwell, assumed ownership of the Perryton and Spearman locations in the late 1970s. Today, Dick's sons, Jeff and Brent, continue the family tradition, ensuring the same values of kindness and professionalism that have defined the business for decades.

Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton is located at 310 Southeast 32nd Avenue and offers a range of services designed to honor each life with dignity and respect.
