About

McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Inc., located at 220 West Broadway Avenue in Maryville, Tennessee, has been a cornerstone of compassionate funeral care for over a century. Established in 1906 with the motto 'serving quietly with dignity,' this family-owned and operated funeral home has proudly served families in Maryville and surrounding counties, earning a reputation for professionalism, personalization, and unwavering support during times of loss. Their enduring commitment to individualized service ensures that each family receives a custom-fit arrangement that honors their unique beliefs, traditions, and budget. The funeral home offers a comprehensive range of services, including traditional funerals, cremation packages, memorial services, graveside ceremonies, immediate burials, and ship-in/ship-out arrangements. They also assist with casket selection, funeral flowers, cemetery plots, monument sales, pre-need planning, and medical science arrangements. Beyond logistics, their staff provides grief support resources and guidance every step of the way, from the initial notification to final farewell. The history of McCammon-Ammons-Click is deeply rooted in local legacy. Sam H. McCammon and Roy E. Ammons, both Blount County natives, began their funeral careers in the early 1900s. Ammons started in 1906 with Ed F. Harper Furniture and Undertaking Co., while McCammon began in 1910 with Bogle Furniture Co. They formed the partnership of McCammon-Ammons in the 1900s and moved to the present location. Tom Click joined the firm in 1956 and eventually purchased the interests of both partners, continuing the tradition of excellence. His brother, Jim Click, also joined from the Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City, and together they have maintained the family legacy. Notably, the ground on which the funeral home stands holds its own history: it was once the site of Maryville's first public school, the East Tennessee Masonic Female Institute, built in 1850. After the Civil War, the building was restored and later became a public school. The property eventually became the Keny family home, parts of which remain integrated into the funeral home today. McCammon-Ammons-Click is wheelchair accessible with on-site parking, and their doors are open six days a week to serve the community. With thousands of families served and a rating of 4 stars on Google, they continue to blend time-honored traditions with a willingness to adapt, ensuring that every family receives the most caring and professional service possible.
