Originally founded as North Funeral Home by H.S. North, the business was purchased by Donald W. Tetrick upon his move from Joplin, Missouri. Don Tetrick and his father, Glen W. "Pappy" Tetrick, operated the funeral home together until Pappy retired in 1960. Don retired in 1981, selling his interest to Richard, but remained active in the community until his passing in 2012.
