Just a few months later, in January 2007, they acquired Straub Funeral Home in Eureka, South Dakota, from Werner and Henry Straub. The combined business was initially known as Lien-Straub Funeral Chapel, operating out of a facility on 718 G Avenue in Eureka. In August 2022, the Liens further expanded by purchasing the Carlsen locations in Eureka and Ashley, North Dakota. The Eureka operation was then consolidated into the former Carlsen Funeral Home facility at 702 8th Street, now known as Lien-Straub-Carlsen Chapel, while the Ashley location continues under the Carlsen Funeral Home name. This network of locations ensures that Lien Funeral Home can offer convenient, caring services to families in a broad geographic area.

Today, Lien Funeral Home serves families from multiple locations, including Bowdle, Selby, Eureka, and Ashley. The Bowdle location at 3082 2nd Avenue is the historic heart of the business, while an additional chapel at 110 Scranton Street in Selby provides further accessibility. The Eureka and Ashley locations extend its reach into North Dakota.
