About
Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 387 Main Street in Prospect, Pennsylvania, is a family-owned and operated funeral home that has been serving the local community since 1900. With over 111 years of continuous service, this establishment has deep roots in the area and a long-standing tradition of compassionate care. The funeral home first opened in 1900 under Gailey Glenn, who sold it to his nephew Robert Glenn in 1911. Robert later moved to Union City, Pennsylvania, and sold the business to his father, Mark C. Glenn, in 1922. Mark operated the home with his son-in-law, George D. Pyle, until Mark's passing in 1951. George Pyle's grandson, Edward L. Raisley, joined the family business in 1965 and became a partner in 1976. After Pyle's death in 1979, Edward ran the business until his own passing in 1986. His wife, Judy Raisley, then took over operations. In 1995, their daughter, Keri Raisley, earned her funeral director license and joined her mother in the family business. Keri is a 1992 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 1995 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, holding a degree in specialized business and certifications from the Funeral National Boards and Funeral State Boards. On March 9, 2020, the family incorporated and changed the name to Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, P.C.
