Waite & Son Funeral Homes has been a cornerstone of compassion and professionalism in Medina County since its founding in 1902 by Herbert Waite. Now under the leadership of the fifth generation, Andrew and Christopher Waite, the firm continues a proud family tradition of providing dignified and personalized funeral services. Herbert's son Harold joined the business in 1919, followed by Harold's son Ralph after his service in World War II. Ralph and his wife Helen's twin sons, Harold and Darrell, entered the business in the 1970s, ensuring continuity of the family legacy. In 1994, recognizing the need to serve families across the county, the Waite family opened a second location in Brunswick at the site of the former Ulrich's Garden Center on Route 303. To mark the company's 100th anniversary in 2002, the original Medina chapel underwent a complete remodel to better meet the evolving needs of the community.
