Turcotte, who had been the licensed manager of the Schuylerville location since 1966, began purchasing shares of the company’s stock, eventually becoming the sole owner upon the Flynns’ retirements. In 2010, Jamie Turcotte Nevins purchased the funeral home from her father, ensuring that the independent, family-run tradition continued. Most recently, in 2024, Jason M. Easton acquired Flynn Bros., Inc., vowing to maintain its legacy as an independent family funeral home, with Jamie and Ken Nevins continuing to work part-time alongside him.
