In the early 1970s, the funeral home was sold to Don and Betty Healy, who continued the tradition of compassionate service under the Cockrell name. In 1990, Bob and Pam Persons, both licensed funeral directors and insurance agents, purchased the business. Bob had apprenticed under Mr. Healy for nearly ten years, ensuring a seamless transition.
