The history of Wulff Funeral Home is a remarkable story of family dedication spanning over 130 years. It was founded in 1884 by August Wulff, a 24-year-old German immigrant who began his work as a cabinet maker. In those early days, August served the community from his home at East 7th and Bradley Avenue, handcrafting caskets and transporting them by horse-drawn wagon—or sleigh in winter. As the business grew, August opened a new location that became known as the "Wulff Block." In 1911, his son Arthur joined the firm, prompting the name change to A.L. Wulff and Son Undertakers. The tradition continued when Arthur's son Owen joined in 1934, and later when Gregory Wulff became the fourth generation to enter the business in 1970. Under Gregory's leadership, the funeral home expanded significantly, including the acquisition of Godbout Mortuary in 1988 and the construction of Woodlane Mortuary in 1990. In 1964, the funeral home moved to its present location at 1485 White Bear Avenue, a modern and spacious facility that continues to serve the East Side community.

Today, Wulff Funeral Home offers a wide array of services designed to honor each life uniquely.
