Hurley Funeral Home, located at 134 South Main Street in Randolph, Massachusetts, has been a pillar of the community since its founding in 1847. Established by Ralph Houghton, it is the oldest funeral home in Randolph and one of the oldest in the state. In 1907, James J. “Joe” Hurley purchased the business, moving its operations to 15 North Main Street, with additional offices in South Braintree and Holbrook. Following Joe Hurley's passing in 1951, his son, John J. Hurley, took over the family business. John, a graduate of Stetson High School, Bentley College, and the National Association of Independent Enterprises, continued the tradition of compassionate service. Today, Hurley Funeral Homes proudly serve Randolph, Holbrook, and the surrounding South Shore communities, offering a full complement of funeral and cremation services.
