Luverne, a registered nurse who served the community at Adel Memorial Hospital, worked alongside Pete until her unexpected passing in 1994. Pete continued serving families for over 61 years, passing away in 2015. Today, their son Dale V. Boone carries on the legacy. Fully licensed as a funeral director and embalmer since the early 1980s, Dale grew up immersed in the funeral profession. He and his wife Dawn have three sons and three grandchildren. The dedicated staff includes James "Jamie" B. Grimsley, Jr., a licensed funeral director and embalmer and Cook County native who joined in 2002, Dan Clements who joined in 2012, and Ricky Young who joined in 2026. Together, the team boasts over 70 years of combined experience, ensuring every family receives dignified, professional care.
