About
Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, located at 407 Jerry Street in historic downtown Castle Rock, Colorado, is a premier funeral home serving families from Castle Pines to Larkspur. As a proud member of the Dignity Memorial® network, this facility combines a rich local heritage with modern amenities to provide compassionate, personalized care. With a stellar 4.9-star rating from 137 reviews, the chapel is renowned for its exceptional service and attention to detail.
Steeped in history, Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson is Castle Rock’s second-oldest business. The original building housed the Littleton Creamery Company in the 1890s. In 1920, the Livingston family transformed it into a funeral home. Over the decades, it passed through the hands of dedicated families—C. Douglas Andrews in 1938, his son in 1974, and Loys and Mattie Caldwell with Bob Gibson in 1984. In 1994, it became part of the Dignity Memorial family, adopting its current name. After celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2020, the funeral home underwent a complete rebuild, opening a state-of-the-art 8,500-square-foot facility in 2022.
The new chapel reflects a comfortable Colorado design with calming colors, natural stone, chandeliers, and abundant natural light. Two entrances provide convenience: one on Jerry Street and another from a private parking lot. Inside, a spacious lobby with a stone fireplace welcomes visitors. Two private arrangement rooms offer conference-style seating for planning. The main venue accommodates up to 150 guests and features projectors for personalized slideshows, opening onto a patio for fresh air. A secondary, more intimate venue seats up to 75, warmed by a fireplace and equipped with surround sound for custom playlists. A catering kitchen with full-size appliances simplifies food and drink service.
Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson offers a full range of services, including traditional funerals, contemporary celebrations of life, and various cremation options—from simple cremations to full services with receptions. The team specializes in creating unique tributes, whether a barbecue honoring a pit master, a cruise-in for a hot-rod enthusiast, or a quiet outdoor scattering ceremony. Pre-planning is a cornerstone, with in-person and virtual consultations, a free personal planning guide, and up to 10% off prepaid plans. The chapel also honors veterans with respectful, meaningful memorial services. Available 24/7, the staff provides round-the-clock support, backed by Dignity Memorial’s 100% service guarantee. Wheelchair-accessible and offering free parking, this funeral home seamlessly blends tradition with innovation to serve the Castle Rock community with dignity and care.
