McInnis Mortuary is a family-owned funeral home with a legacy of compassionate service spanning over four decades. Founded in February 1978 by Mary R. McInnis and the late James E. McInnis in Eutaw, Alabama, the mortuary has grown to become a trusted provider of funeral and cremation services for families in West Alabama and East Central Mississippi. The original location at 267 Demopolis Road in Eutaw served as the foundation for a tradition of personalized care and professional integrity. In December 1990, McInnis Mortuary expanded its reach by opening a second location at 110 Marshall Street in Livingston, Alabama. This facility underwent extensive renovations to create a warm and welcoming environment for families during their time of need.

Both locations are designed with accessibility in mind, featuring wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking lots, ensuring that all community members can find comfort and ease when visiting. The mortuary offers a complete range of traditional and contemporary funeral services, including personalized planning, veteran services (such as headstones and burial flags), grief support resources, and assistance with Social Security benefits. Following the passing of James E. McInnis on July 12, 2008, his son Eric J. McInnis stepped into ownership alongside his mother, Mary R. McInnis, who remains a licensed funeral director.
